Keeping a relationship is hard work. It's common to let emotions take over when you have a break up. The hurt associated with the break up lead to feelings of anger and often leaves you bitter. You could be overcome by sadness. We never do get over or forget the things we miss most from our relationships so we tend to change our everyday actions to help sooth our broken hearts. You need to reflect on what didn't go well in your past relationships if you want to avoid negative emotions and have success in future relationships. Not putting blame on your partner is the first step to take. It's easy to pin one's failure on someone else. Blaming yourself is the hardest job of all. For this reason, you may have to enlist some help. The best place to find information about what you might have done wrong is your friends and/or family. You can find out what it is you do that erks other people and possibly find out why your last relationship didn't last. If you're considering reuniting with your ex, being aware of the problem and fixing it, could be what helps you to get back with them. A heart to heart talk with your partner can help in many ways. No person, other than your partner, truly knows what went wrong in the relationship. You just have to be careful not to allow your emotion to cloud your judgment. You'll need to remain open-minded and accept that the reason they give you for the breakup is the truth. You will also need to be open to changing or trying to improve the problem. When you find out what went wrong and you think you can fix it and you want to get your ex back, you have to be able to change and if possible eliminate bad habits.
